15th Anniversary of Indigo Ever since John's brother Dave came home to be the chef here, this downtown restaurant has been dishing out some good music as well. Lokahi Tree Giving Project In Hawaiian, lokahi means unity or harmony. That's the spirit of this wonderful charity organization that so generously gives to the community throughout the year. Honolulu City Lights Tree Lighting Each time Honolulu City Lights, stir up memories in me. Each year, one of Hawaii's best known songs is transformed into an entire event to officially launch the Christmas season outside the mayor's office downtown. Thousands turn out to see the lights, the parade, the mayor and of course, the music. Concert starts at 7:30pm, following the tree lighting ceremony at 6pm, but don't be late.
